A great adaptation!
This is a great adaptation of The Divine Comedy. It’s Dante deconstructed. I loved the references to the Classics and also the Latin. The narrator really brings the story to life and gives Dante a voice. I loved it!

Superb!
I’ve always been intrigued by Dante’s classic poem although the translations don’t appeal. This book reads as an intelligent, high-end fiction and follows Dante’s adventures as he travels through the afterlife. I feel it would work exceptionally well for students as a reference/source material although I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it as a novel. Highly recommended.

I’m familiar with Inferno and this was a fascinating read. The author has presented Dante’s classic in a brand new way – easily understood fiction although ‘literary’ in feel and quality. All three were great, particularly Paradiso.

Superb writing! Amazing read!
This book takes you deep into the underworld of Hell then way out the other side to Purgatory and Paradise. It’s written in the first person so you get inside the main character’s head which makes it interesting. It’s a fantasy adventure and not what I expected at all. Would make a great movie.
